ENTITY reports on John Green books and the announcement of his new book coming out soon.

Calling all bookworms and “The Fault in Our Stars” fanatics: If you haven’t heard, John Green announced just last month that he will be releasing a new book later this year.

ENTITY reports on John Green books and his upcoming novel.

Green has been writing a book about 16-year-old Aza Holmes, “a young woman who grapples with mental illness while investigating the disappearance of a fugitive billionaire,” reports Entertainment Weekly.

“Turtles All the Way Down” is set to be released on October 10.

We can only imagine how good this book (and likely ensuing movie) will be. Here, ENTITY looks back at some of Green’s greatest books in order to prepare ourselves for “Turtles All the Way Down.”

*Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn’t read these books.*

The book that started it all.

The infamous book and movie, “The Fault in Our Stars” is ultimately what got everyone hooked to all things John Green did. It’s the story of forbidden love, as if that didn’t pull in anyone with a beating heart.

Both the novel and movie follow the love story of Hazel Grace (played by Shailene Woodley) and Augustus Waters (played by Ansel Elgort). Both have cancer, yet fall in love, despite the odds that are stacked against them.

*We’re not crying, you are.*

Green’s first book was “Looking for Alaska.” “Miles Halter is fascinated by famous last words – and tired of his safe life at home. He leaves for boarding school to seek what the dying poet Francois Rabelais called the ‘Great Perhaps.’ Much awaits Miles at Culver Creek, including Alaska Young,” writes Green about the book.

Shortly after Miles becomes friends with Alaska and her group of cohorts, she tragically dies in a car accident. The book goes on to recount how this misfit group of friends deals with the tragic death of their friend. It will bring out emotions in anyone who cares about their friends deeply.

Green’s next movie deal

“Paper Towns,” another of Green’s popular YA books hit the silver screen in 2015. It starred Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff. Although this movie did not do as well as “The Fault in Our Stars,” it is still extremely popular.

After nerdy Quentin (Nat Wolff) has an adventure with the most popular girl in school, tragedy strikes. Margo (Cara Delevingne) has gone missing and thus adventure ensues for Quentin, in order to find his newfound love.

An Abundance of Romance (oh, and Katherines)

“An Abundance of Katherines” is one of Green’s lighter books, seeing as it’s categorized under humor. The book follows Colin Singleton and his adventures of dating, and being dumped, by 19 different girls named Katherine.

He then decides to go on a road trip with his best friend after being dumped by the 19th Katherine. “Colin is on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which he hopes will predict the future of any relationship, avenge Dumpees everywhere and finally win him the girl,” according to the book’s synopsis.

Overall, John Green books bring on the feels. Whether it’s crying into your pillow or laughing at quirky characters, Green knows how to connect with his readers.

The description of “Turtles All the Way Down” gives us the feeling that Green is gonna hit us in the feels yet again.
