ENTITY reports on Kathy Griffin net worth.

How does Kathy Griffin, a self-described D-lister, accumulate all of her wealth?

Kathy Griffin’s  edgy and fearless antics have been stirring up trouble for years. She recently made headlines for posing in a controversial image holding up a (fake) bloodied and beheaded Donald Trump lookalike.

After the backlash, Griffin came back with an immediate apology. But this isn’t the first time she’s had to explain her actions. The comedian has been known to cross the line and pull some major scandals. That’s always been her shtick.

But despite the controversy, Kathy Griffin’s net worth is priced at a whopping $20 million. Not bad for someone people seem to not like.

If you’re wondering how she does it, here’s what ENTITY found out.

ENTITY reports on Kathy Griffin net worth.

1 She made some money during her early career.

Before Kathy Griffin, who is now 56 years old, became known for her snappy comedic quips, she made a few television and film appearances back in the early 90’s. Griffin played minor roles on television, including a reporter on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” She also appeared in “Pulp Fiction” and landed a supporting role in the NBC sitcom “Suddenly Susan.”

On top of that, Griffin began touring as a comedian In Los Angeles with a comedy group called The Groundlings, where she honed her unique comedic voice and style.

2 Kathy’s Life on The D-List.

Bravo’s “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” became an instant hit, earning the ferocious red-head some of Bravo’s highest ratings. With it, the D-lister also won two Emmy Awards for Most Outstanding Reality Program.

Bravo has also hosted other specials, featuring Kathy Griffin’s first one-hour special, HBO’s “Kathy Griffin: A Hot Cup of Talk.”

Her stints in television also branch into hosting a variety of TV specials, including  “Kathy Griffin: She’ll Cut a Bitch” and “A Hot Cup of Talk.” She’s also hosted a one-hour talk show called, “Kathy.”

3 Hosting Gigs

For the past ten years, fans have been able to watch Kathy Griffin flirt shamelessly on camera with Anderson Cooper while hosting CNN’s annual New Year’s Eve special.

Unfortunately, however, CNN fired the comedian after the Trump controversy so she won’t be getting any money from that gig.

Let’s hope they can forgive her. They’ve got another eight months to change their minds.
