Entity discusses emotional strength in strong woman

Once in a while you will meet someone who could turn your world around unexpectedly.

They might be understanding, make you feel complete and stand by you no matter what. You thought it would last, but things aren’t always good. There will be times when you would fight, fist on the wall and shout at each other, when you would be in the middle of a crisis, thinking whether you should move on or fight harder.

Because people change, just like the seasons do.

You’d try to weather the storm. You’d try to find your inner peace and stay. You kept fighting no matter how toxic you both were to each other, until one day, just like any other day, there was nothing more to fight for. You searched for it everywhere, but it was nowhere to be found. You just lost the key to the lock. He’s not there anymore.

You’ll come to the realization that some people are not worthy of you. You learn to just let things go, but does letting go mean giving up?

No, dear. I don’t think so.

You are not giving up on him like he has given up on you. You are letting him go, and there is nothing wrong with that. You should have done this a long time ago. Darling, you can choose yourself now, because you have always chosen him over the things that would have actually meant something more.

It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to mope around. It’s natural to be depressed when you lose something you love. What’s not okay is to hold onto what is hurting you and your beautiful soul. I understand that he used to mean something to you, he used to be your whole world. But he gave up long before you did.

You are just letting go of the pain, and you will not give up. You are not giving up just because you realized that you are still art, even after he’s done admiring you. You are not giving up just because you realized that your worth is not based on how much someone loves you. You are not giving up just because you realized how much better off you are alone.

It’s time to finally say, “Goodbye to you, my love. Please be happy.”

You are letting go.
