These silly inventions will leave you mad as a hatter.
On October 6th of every year, people put on their craziest hats in honor of Mad Hatter Day. The day October 6th was chosen because the “Hatter” had a label marked 10/6 on his top hat.
Mad Hatter Day was first celebrated in 1986 by a group of computer technicians in Boulder, Colorado.
The “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”-inspired holiday is a day to put your top hat on and bring your silliness out. There are other silly things that have been invented besides Mad Hatter Day.

When White Castle opened in 1921, they became famous for selling delicious burgers. Nowadays White Castle is famous for their candles. The description states:
“White Castle is a part of Americana history and there will always be a soft spot in our heart for that wonderful wafting smell of fast food that hits you right when you walk in the door.”
It turns out it smells exactly like the real thing, according to customer reviews. The White Castle scented candles were so popular that they actually sold out.
If you want to keep your gums healthy and enjoy your favorite breakfast item, then bacon floss is for you. The product claims that it will keep your breath “bacon fresh.” Many customers use it as a gag gift, but those who actually use it say the product can be improved.
“I purchased it for 3 guys’ Christmas stockings, they got a laugh out of it so I hope they actually use it. The youngest one, an 11-year-old, said a picture of bacon would have been tastier. It does smells bacony but it doesn’t have much taste…”
When you run out of underwear, you know it’s time to do laundry. You can save money when doing laundry now by just sharing underwear with your partner. Fundies “Undies for Two” is a pair of underwear that fits both you and your lover.
This gag gift is usually given at bachelorette parties and one customer said that you’ll probably need to do a lot of convincing when it comes to getting your partner to try them on.
