The vanilla milkshake is probably the simplest to make. All you need are three ingredients. Of course, you can still dress it up with sprinkles or cookie pieces.

  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup of milk

2 Chocolate

The chocolate milkshake is another traditional choice. If you’re a person who prefers a chocolate overload, this is where some chocolate syrup comes in handy.

  • 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

3 Strawberry

Strawberry milkshakes are another traditional choice, and they include the fruit in the recipe. Healthy, right?

  • 1/4 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 7 strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup of sugar

4 Cookies & Cream

The cookies and cream milkshake is simple to make and lets you get creative with the toppings. You can top this milkshake off with Oreos, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, or all three. Yum!

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 5-6 Oreo cookies (crushed)

5 Birthday Cake

Who says you can only have birthday cake on your birthday? This milkshake is a great option if you want to spruce up classic vanilla. Plus, you get to top it off with sprinkles.

  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of funfetti cake mix

There Are No Limits.

For those who don’t have a blender at home, don’t worry! That doesn’t mean you have to run out and buy a milkshake. Put the car keys down!

Food Network spoke with Chef Brett Reichler, who shared how you can make a milkshake even without a blender.

“If you don’t own a blender, you can also use a stick-blender, which works just as effectively,” Reichler said. “If you don’t have either one of those, grab a stainless bowl and a whisk, you should never deny yourself a milkshake because you don’t have a blender.”

Not having a blender can help you be more creative with your dream milkshake. Ideally, i can come in handy for those who prefer a thicker milkshake.
