Entity reveals that Mariah Carey wants romance for christmas.

Mariah Carey has never managed to find the same level of long lasting success in her love life as she has in her glorious music career.

So it’s no wonder that all she wants for Christmas is romance.

At the premiere of her new E! reality series “Mariah’s World,” she admitted, “Love would be fantastic.”

Single since splitting from billionaire James Packer in October, Mariah certainly has a potential new candidate as the man in her life in the shape of her backup dancer Bryan Tanaka who told E! News that he’s “always had a thing” for Mariah, adding “I love her so much.”

But having her heart broken so often in the past, the songbird seems to be proceeding with caution.

Mariah is one of the best selling music artists of all time having sold 200 million records worldwide and scored 18 number one singles in the U.S., more than any other solo artist. Among her biggest hits is enduring festive favorite “All I Want for Christmas is You.”

But as Carey admits, what she really wants is a successful love life. Over the years she has dated big names in music, business and sports without ever finding “the one.”

Here are four previous Mariah romances which ultimately didn’t work out.

1 James Packer

The Australian billionaire became engaged to Mariah in January 2016 but the couple split up in October amid reports they were arguing about money. The media tycoon was said to be unsettled by her lavish lifestyle, which reportedly includes spending $10,000 on hair and makeup sessions before going out in public and splashing $45,000 a year on spa treatments for each of her beloved dogs. Reportedly, when he started picking up some of her bills, they started to argue.

2 Nick Cannon

Mariah married “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon in 2008, having met him when they worked together on the video for her single “Bye Bye.” But she said “Bye Bye” to him six years later following rumors that he had cheated on her. They have twins together, Moroccan and Monroe.

3 Derek Jeter

A New York Yankees legend who played in the World Series seven times, Derek Jeter has had a long list of famous girlfriends, including Mariah whom he dated from 1997 to 1998.  When she made a trip to spring training to see him, so many camera crews came along that fellow Yankees player Tim Raines famously remarked, “Is this baseball or Entertainment Tonight?’” They split due to what their publicists called “media pressure.”

4 Tommy Mottola

Former Sony Music chief Mottola helped guide Mariah from a 19-year-old backup singer to the summit of the music industry. They were married from 1993 to 1998 but split after she complained he was far too controlling. In his autobiography, “Hitmaker,” he called Carey’s claims “lots of crap” but added he was “truly sorry for any discomfort or pain that all of my good intentions inevitably caused her.”
