Heather Lindsey knows that true beauty stems from the inside out.
There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who can be completely and unabashedly true to herself and her beliefs. No one embodies this better than social media influencer Heather Lindsey. She is a powerhouse. From wife to mother to mentor to author to public speaker to entrepreneur, there’s nothing this woman can’t do. Heather captures the hearts and minds of girls everywhere through her empire of women’s empowerment.

Heather Lindsey is the founder of Pinky Promise; an organization that encourages women to honor God with their life and body. Its goal is to uplift women while teaching them the importance of purity in their mind, body, and spirit. It connects women of all ages and ethnicities to come together and build their local community while living for Christ. Heather’s inspiration came from a time when she was frustrated with her single life and began placing her worth and value in all the wrong things.
After getting married, she designed bracelets to remind women of their worth. This led her to open the Pinky Promise boutique. Seeing how popular the bracelets were, she soon decided that the store wasn’t enough. She needed to create a network of women that could meet on a regular basis and hold each other accountable.
Heather challenges teens, young adults and women to rise above cultural pressures. Her organization is committed to showing women how to say no in a yes society. Today, Pinky Promise has over 45,000 women in over 300 groups with a network extending beyond the United States to Africa and Europe!
If you look at Heather’s Instagram, you’ll notice that it is full of photos of her husband and two adorable children. She also has maternity pictures revealing that a third child is on the way! She and her husband, Cornelius Lindsey, lead a church in Atlanta Georgia called The Gathering Oasis. It’s also a ministry where they travel and preach together around the world.
Heather Lindsey encourages everyone to never put their worth in the hands of other people. That’s giving away our power and as women, we have a lot of it! If we always look to others for validation of whether we are good enough, we never will be. To be imprisoned by another’s opinion based on their myopic view of who we are isn’t living. In fact, it’s a slow death.
Heather says, “If you aren’t sure of your identity, you will base it off of others’ value of you. Know your value. Know that it comes from Jesus. Walk boldly with your head held high!”
As a Christian leader, Heather bases everything she does off of her faith. However, even if you do not identify as Christian you can gain something valuable from her messages. The most important thing she tells women is to always remember their worth and that comes from knowing who you really are and knowing your purpose. When you know who you are and why you are, you gain unshakeable confidence. That inner confidence is where true beauty lies.
