Entity explores the people who have what it takes to be the next Anna Wintour.

Anna Wintour has been the editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine since 1988. How? Because she’s got an eye for fashion, of course. But it’s also because she’s fierce. The elegant woman is reported to have a demanding personality, earning her the nickname “Nuclear Wintour.” Her take-no-prisoners attitude is believed to be the inspiration behind “The Devil Wears Prada”‘s relentless boss, Miranda Priestly.

Are there any other women in the fashion world who has what it takes to take her place?

Delphine Arnault, the Executive VP of Louis Vuitton, is the daughter of Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH. Arnault has earned a reputation as an extremely capable businesswoman all on her own. She’s known to stay out of the spotlight – except for when it’s good for business – and to remain calm and collected despite the stress of her job. Maybe she’s not quite like Miss Priestly, but Delphine definitely comes close.

Sophia Amoruso is the CEO and founder of Nasty Gal and is now richer than Beyoncé, after growing her online business for a decade. Since becoming Forbes’ “Fashion’s New Phenom,” Sophia has written her own book, “#GIRLBOSS,” which describes the road to her success. In addition, the inspirational woman has an online foundation with the same name; its mission is to empower young female entrepreneurs.

Diane von Fürstenberg is the owner, designer, president of the CFDA, and owner of her own fashion company. In 1969, she married the German Prince Egon of Fürstenberg, but divorced 3 years later and continues to use his name. Diane has talked a lot about her mother’s influence in her life. As a holocaust survivor, her mother taught her that “fear is not an option.”

Jenna Lyons tripled the revenue of fashion brand J. Crew in the first 10 years of her leadership position with the company. She’s currently President and Executive Creative Director, but her success with the company wasn’t instantaneous. She’s been climbing her way up her entire career since she was 21 years old and was first hired as an assistant to an assistant. She credits her success to her candor, especially when CEO Mickey Drexler asked for her opinion about rebranding the business.

Rachel Zoe is a designer, stylist, writer and businesswoman with her own reality television series, newspaper, and clothing line. Talk about success! Rachel explained in an interview with Forbes that her ambition comes from her father, who was an entrepreneur as well. Her resume is long and varied; she’s been taking big career risks since she started. She ends this video, in which she reads out her impressive resume, by stating, “I would say my message of my resume is the sky’s the limit for what you can do but don’t expect anyone to hand it. I’m not going to sugarcoat it. It’s really hard work— all of it.”
