Your hands tell your story.
Usually when we think of palm reading, we don’t think about which palm to present to the reader. We just volunteer any hand, usually the dominant hand, hoping to have our future told.
As it turns out, it does matter which hand gets read.

Whether you decide to have one or both palms read depends on what you’re hoping to reveal. According to Gala Darling, the left hand shows a person’s potential and the right hand shows what the person has done with their given potential.
Lauren Conrad spoke with a palm reader named Parvati, who explained it comes down to certainty and emotions.
“In Eastern countries in the world, they look to read the left hand because it has lines that indicate the more emotional side of your being—relationships, emotional struggles, etc,” she explained. “But in Western cultures, where work and career are often a key aspect in our lives and future, the right hand has more information about upward mobility, and provides a well-rounded reading of our lives.”
If you want a full picture of your reading, then it’s probably best to have both hands read, although a cheaper option would be to only do one hand. Ultimately, the choice is up to you.
If you don’t want to spend the money to have your palm read, there are other ways to quickly identify your personality based on the shape of your hands.
What many don’t know is that there are also different types of hand categories. According to Gala Darling, there are four hand categories for palm reading that can help describe your personality: earth, water, air and fire.
Individuals with earth hands love anything to do with the outdoors. Earth hands are square-shaped with wide palms, and are usually rough-looking in appearance.
People with water hands are usually artistic and very emotional. Water hands have long fingers and usually have short, oval palms.
Those with air hands are curious and deemed to be intellectual. Air hands can be described as having square palms with long fingers.
People who have fire hands are usually the more energetic of the bunch. Fire hands are identified as having square palms with shorter fingers.
