It’s been a full year since Niantic released the gaming app Pokémon GO.
Remember last summer? It seems like it was just yesterday that teens were skateboarding in front of moving cars and discovering dead bodies just to catch ’em all.
With such a moving trend in such an internet-surged era, there had to be overwhelming responses. Those responses were the dankest of memes. It was lit! *dab* (I think I got all of the 2016 summer trends, right?)

Yes, it would be amazing to discover a Gyarados on your doorstep, but it’s more rewarding to get one when the app tried to make you to fail.
Pokémon are heroes to all. No matter the fandom, no matter the city, Pokémon will be there to save you. A heart so true our courage will pull us through. You teach me and I’ll teach you.
The Pokémon are all around us! Turn a corner, open a dumpster, they’re there, too! Be safe, some bite. Not all are kind and not all will want to be trained, but you can persevere. You can be the very best like no one ever was, to catch them is your real test, to train them is your cause.
There’s no debate about it, Pokémon Go brings people together. That’s its purpose. It’s a blessing to all.
Pokémon Go hosts all of the coolest trainers and Pokémon. It’s as simple as that. Pokémon can do anything.
