If you’re a big “Game of Thrones” fan, you probably already know who Rose Leslie is. If you don’t, then we’re here for you.

Rose Leslie is a Scottish actress who rose to fame from her roles in “Downton Abbey,” “Game of Thrones” and “The Good Fight,” just to name a few. And on “Game of Thrones,” she played the woman who stole Jon Snow’s heart.

But of course, she’s so much more than that. Here are five reasons Rose Leslie is so awesome.

1 We loved her on “Game of Thrones.”

Rose Leslie used to play Ygritte, a wild woman and Jon Snow’s love interest in the series. She became a part of the series in season two, when Jon Snow encountered her traveling beyond the Wall.

Unfortunately, she died in season four, leaving us with broken hearts and lost dreams. At this point, there’s really no hope for Ygritte and Jon Snow to get back together.

But throughout her role in “Game of Thrones,” her signature catchphrase was, “You know nothing, Jon Snow.” Men.

2 She has a real-life romance with Kit Harington.

Although there’s no hope for Jon and Ygritte on “Game of Thrones,” our dreams became reality when Leslie and real-life Jon hit it off. Leslie and Kit Harington met for the first time on the set of the hit show and seem to be doing really well together.

Harington and Leslie announced they were moving in together and we couldn’t be any happier. Their characters may have not gotten a happy ending, but we’re glad they get a chance in real life.

3 Rose Leslie keeps adding onto her resume of Movies and TV Shows.

Rose Leslie was a part of “The Good Fight” and played the young and motivated lawyer, Maia Rindell, who has to overcome a major family scandal.

In an interview with Town & Country, Rose said she enjoyed preparing for her role. She says she got ready by reading Stephanie Madoff Mack’s memoir, “The End of Normal,” which was written by the the daughter-in-law of Bernard Madoff.

“Reading that book was heartrending, as a human being learning about the way someone else’s life has been flipped upside down,” she said. “That was something that allowed me to almost get an understanding of just how appalling it must have been to be in her situation. You can really only imagine; it’s catastrophic.”

Her other television and movie credits include her roles in “Downton Abbey,” “Morgan,” “The Last Witch Hunter,” “Honeymoon” and “The Great Fire.”

4 She has a Large Family.

Rose Leslie has five siblings! Imagine that. She’s the middle child and has two brothers and two sisters.

She jokes about having suffered from “middle child syndrome,” which may or may not be a thing.

She told The Telegraph, “From a young age, I wanted to differentiate myself from my older siblings. Certainly part of being from a big family is that you have to shout to make yourself heard. I remember bossing my younger siblings around and making them put on shows and skits with me.”

Looks like her roleplaying paid off.

5 Rose Leslie is a Real-Life Princess.

The “Game of Throne” actress actually lived in a castle.

Rose Leslie grew up in Lickleyhead Castle in the Scottish countryside near Aberdeen. Her family lived in that castle for more than 500 years, and the 30-acre estate is regularly rented out for weddings and other events.

How did her family manage to make this happen? Well, her father, Sebastian’s, official title is “The Aberdeenshire Chieftain of Clan Leslie,” and her mother, Candida, is the great-granddaughter of the 13th Lord Lovat.

She may not be living in a castle anymore, but she’s still the ruler of our hearts. And with the attention she’s gotten from her role in “Game of Thrones” and “Downton Abbey,” we’re sure this won’t be the last we hear of her.
