ENTITY reports Lauren Silverman.

Lauren Silverman is the winner of “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell’s heart. And outside of that title, she’s also a former socialite and the ex-wife of real estate mogul Andrew Silverman.

There is more to Lauren Silverman than meets the Simon Cowell eye, though.

Here are five facts we found out about her after some digging.

1 Lauren Silverman grew up in an upperclass household.

According to Daily Mail, Silverman grew up in Florida to parents Steven and Rosy Davis. Steven Davis, 61, is an accountant and her mother Carole Davis, 60, is a real estate agent. The couple has remarried after their divorce.

Lauren Silverman grew up in a Hallandale Beach, Florida home that was worth around $900,000 dollars. She also attended a private Miami Country Day School, which cost almost $20,000 dollars a year.

2 She has two children.

Lauren Silverman and her ex-husband, Andrew Silverman, share a son, Adam. After the divorce, Andrew said that his main focus was his business and, most importantly, his son.

“It was a very difficult time in my life. I learned a lot, moved forward. My core business has continued to move forward. I learned a lot about myself as an individual, the importance of family. My focus has been on my son throughout the whole ordeal,” Andrew told the Observer.

As for her now beau, Simon Cowell told Mirror UK that having a son was definitely life changing.

“You get through that first year and suddenly you realize you can talk with them and they’ve taken on your mannerisms and everything else. It is amazing. He is absolutely incredible and so funny. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Cowell said.

3 She and Simon Cowell want to expand their family.

In an interview with HELLO! Magazine, both Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman stated that they would be open to the idea of having another child.

“I think if you have one child it would be lovely to have a girl,” Cowell said. And Lauren agreed, revealing that she and Simon already have a few girls’ names in mind.

Lauren added that they thought their first child would be a girl but it turned out that baby Eric came instead. “When I was pregnant with Eric I was told by the doctors he was a girl. But he just fooled them. There were a few names floating around but we had our name picked out and it would be lovely to have a girl,” she said.

4 Cowell says that Lauren changed his life.

The “X Factor” judge said that he’s happy to be a first-time father. He told the BBC, “I’m proud to be a dad. It’s something I hadn’t thought of before, but now I know I feel good about it. Things are changing in my life right now, for the better. [Lauren’s] a very special girl.”

5 Watching Lauren Silverman give birth is not something Simon Cowell wanted to see.

Today reported how Simon Cowell expressed that he would find it unpleasant to watch his girlfriend giving birth.

“Are you out of your mind? I know this sounds awful, but it’s like you don’t want to go into the restaurant while they’re making your dinner. I think there are certain things you shouldn’t see and that is one of them,” said Cowell on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

But as soon as Eric Cowell was born into the world, Simon Cowell took to his Twitter to share the news and express his gratitude. “Very happy to say Eric was born … Healthy and handsome.”

He then added, “Lauren [is] in great shape. Thanks for all of your kind messages.”

E! News reported that Baby Eric was named after Simon Cowell’s father, Eric Selig Phillip Cowell, who passed away in 1999.

Lauren Silverman can definitely be reassured that in the end, Simon is truly not the harshest person he depicts himself to be on “American Idol.”
