Entity shares some vacation loyalty programs you don't want to miss.

Are you the kind of woman who orders the same dish from your favorite restaurant … every single time? Do you stick to the same brand that you know and trust? If you’re a brand loyalist who travels often, membership and loyalty programs may be the best way to save money and receive amazing benefits.

Memberships are cost-effective only if you are travel more than once or twice a year. However, if you’re a busy businesswoman on the go, airline, hotel and cruise line memberships offer you the opportunities to spend less money and earn rewards on all legs of your journey.

1 Airlines

While most flyers simply search for the cheapest flight no matter which airline, a membership at a specific airline may be more cost-effective. American Airlines, Delta and United Airlines offer great memberships for frequent flyers: AAdvantage, Sky Club and United Club Membership, respectively.

With a membership at your favorite airline, you could enjoy free lounges before your flight that may include free Wi-Fi, food and beverages. You also earn miles while flying on participating airlines and use them later towards hotels, rental car services and more.

2 Hotels

Once you actually arrive at your destination, checking into a hotel is a natural next step. Marriott Rewards, Wyndham Rewards, Best Western Rewards and Club Carlson are ranked as the top four hotel rewards programs in the U.S. by U.S. News Travel. If you find yourself frequenting a specific hotel chain during your trips, you might want to consider spending money on a rewards membership or program for that hotel.

Hotel memberships usually have point-earning systems, just as airlines have mile-earning systems. When you stay at a hotel or use a Rewards Card for purchases, you earn points that can be used for future flights and hotel stays. Special deals, gift cards, shopping sprees and free Wi-Fi are often benefits of earning points through hotel reward programs.

3 Travel Packages

Now that you’ve chosen your airline and hotel membership rewards programs, it’s time to think about what you’re actually going to do on vacation. Even if you already have some activities in mind, it may be beneficial to check out travel and vacation discount packages.

These travel package options make your vacation affordable and memorable.

4 Cruise Lines

It may take a few cruises to get your sea legs and choose the line that’s right for you, but sticking to one cruise line throughout your life can save you money in the long run. Many cruise lines such as Carnival, Celebrity, Princess and Royal Caribbean offer more benefits when you utilize their loyalty programs. If you prefer the ease and luxury of a cruise, definitely stick to a specific line even to see the benefits roll in.

Carnival’s Cruise Loyalty Program offers discounts, priority boarding, free laundry and more to “VIFP (Very Important Fun People)” based on the number of days you’ve spent on board. Princess’ Captain’s Circle membership and loyalty program is based on the number of cruises (or range of days) you’ve been on with them and offers free limited Wi-Fi minutes, discounts for onboard purchases, exclusive access and more. Royal Caribbean’s Crown and Anchor Society and Celebrity’s Captain’s Club programs are based on a point system – one Cruise Point for every night sailed with them – and offer exclusive events, special offers and priority access among other perks.
