Old Nokia phones didn’t have just your favorite snake game or a T9 numeric touchpad, they were also hailed as “indestructible.” You could essentially drop these phones on the floor or forget to charge them overnight without worrying about them. But as great as these phones sound, when Apple came out with their first elegant iPhone, the classic Nokia phone took a backseat.

Although the iPhone offers a host of features that classic Nokia phones do not, stylish smartphone designs are definitely more prone to damage. And if you’ve ever wondered just how breakable your iPhone is, BuzzFeed did you the favor of comparing classic Nokia phones with classic iPhones.

In this video, the BuzzFeed team submerges the phones in water, run over them with a car and drops them from the roof of a building. Although PC World says the classic iPhone 3G is relatively durable for a smartphone, watch the video to see which phone wins the head-to-head battle.

Even if you don’t have either of these phones anymore, at least BuzzFeed will help solve one of the Internet’s greatest questions: Just how indestructible is the Nokia phone?
