But here at ENTITY we know that a woman is more than just her relationship to a man. So for those of you wondering who she is outside of all the Chris Brown drama, we’ve got you covered.
Here are four things you should know about Karrueche Tran.
Shortly after graduating Birmingham High School in 2006, Tran started working as a personal shopper. Then from 2009 to 2012, she worked at Nordstrom before shifting gears and working as a freelance celebrity stylist.
While she was working other jobs, she started her modeling career by participating in photoshoots for local brands. For one, she’s posed as the face of Lady Crooks, the women’s division of a streetwear brand Crooks and Castles. She’s also been on the covers of various magazines, including Flaunt, Rolling Out, The Hundreds and Annex.
Right now, she’s signed with Wilhelmina Models LA and is working her way up in the industry.
Outside of modeling, though, Karrueche has found her place in the acting world. She stars in the Emmy-winning web series “The Bay: The Series.” In addition to that, her first feature film “3-Headed Shark Attack” was released in the summer of 2015.
Her newest series, “Claws,” is set to release on June 11 and will follow the lives of five manicurists who work at the Nail Artisan salon of Manatee County in South Florida.
Aside from acting and modeling, Karrueche Tran also picks up hosting gigs every now and then. She has hosted the BET Awards red carpet as well as various other events during the official BET Weekend in 2014. In addition, she has co-hosted the “BET” show and “106 & Park.”
It seems like Karrueche Tran has no problem keeping herself busy. At this rate, ENTITY expects to see more of her soon.
