As adorable photos float around the internet, it’s fair to wonder who Stephen Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, really is. From an outsider’s perspective, she seems like your average fabulous wife of a celebrity: supportive and beautiful. But there is so much more to her than that.
Turns out she’s not just an athlete’s wife: She has her own successful career, make that careers, being an active, driven, diversely talented and successful Barbie-come-to-life.

Ayesha started a blog with lifestyle and cooking tips as well as her own YouTube channel. This landed her a spot on the Food Network with her own show called “Ayesha’s Homemade.”
After that, she released a cookbook, “The Seasoned Life” in 2016. It’s not just a regular cookbook either; it is a family and faith centered book for the home-chef, taking into practical account children and time-constraints. It’s even a national best seller.
She even has her own line of olive oil, Little Lights of Mine, and donates 10 percent of the proceeds to the charity No Kid Hungry. With a heart for worthy causes, her ethical branding should make products fly off the shelves!
Ayesha started acting when she was 12 years old in the music video for “Too Young for Love” by Suga Prince. She worked as an actress for television and film on and off from 2008 to 2014. Character acting is no longer her main career, but it set up a good base for her personality on television.
Her true persona landed her fame, as she started appearing on television as herself in 2015.
She is currently combining her television career with her culinary career by continuing “Ayesha’s Homemade.” She adds her personal pizzazz to her instructions for recipes for any occasion.
Ayesha moved from Canada to Charlotte, North Carolina when she was 14 years old and met Stephen at church there. Neither of them had each other on their romantic radar and were friends for years before dating.
They reconnected when they both moved to California, even after Ayesha promised herself she wouldn’t date an athlete (whoops!). It obviously turned out okay because they married in 2011 and have two children, Riley Elizabeth, who is five years old, and Ryan Carson, who is two years old.
Ayesha is a devoted wife of Stephen Curry as well as a mother-of-two, but she’s also one of the damn successful #WomenThatDo in the entertainment industry.
