Entity shares ways to remind yourself that you deserve better.

Move on. Easier said than done, right?

Easy to say that you don’t care anymore, but every time your phone rings you expect it to be him. Easy to say that you are over him, but you still want to know what he’s up to these days. Easy to say that you don’t love him anymore, but you still cry yourself to sleep every night.

You are just waiting for the time when you get the chance to talk, because deep inside you still hope that when he sees how vulnerable you are, he will take you back. He won’t. You cannot force anyone to feel what they do not feel. Just like how they cannot force you not to love them anymore.

But how long until you realize that the only one suffering from the tug-of-war that you call love, is you?

How many more sleepless nights until you realize that he’s already out there having the time of his life? How many more bottles do you have to kiss until his name is gone from your lips? How many more toilets do you have to hug until you learn that it’s time for you to hug yourself?

He’s not there anymore and the only one who can save you, is you, because you are the only one left.

His laugh cannot be your favorite sound anymore. He’s gone.
His eyes cannot lie anymore. He’s gone.
His voice cannot make you weak anymore. He is gone.

He is gone because he didn’t choose you and that is not what you deserve. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to mope around. It’s normal to be depressed when you lose someone you love, but what’s not okay is to hold onto things that hurt.

You have to know that you deserve an explanation.
You deserve a reason as to why you are not enough for him to stay.
And it is not your fault that he didn’t stay. He has given up on someone who would’ve given him the world.
It’s not your fault that he wasted a diamond to have petty stones.
It’s not your fault that he couldn’t handle how great you are.

You don’t need to wait for him to call anymore, because if he wanted to he would’ve done it a long time ago. You don’t need to wait for him to come back anymore, because if he wanted to stay he wouldn’t have left in the first place.

Now, it’s your turn to smile. Wipe your tears and stand tall, baby girl. You deserve to move on because you deserve a love that stays.

A love that will hug you so tight you will forget why you hate the world. You deserve someone who knows exactly what he wants, and someone who knows what a waste it would be to lose someone like you.

You deserve to laugh until you cry. You deserve to be with someone who knows how to treat you right.

You deserve to move on and once you believe that you do, you’re already halfway there.
