Entity reports on how Beyoncé is a smart businesswoman.

The incredibly talented and powerful Queen B has made the world her kingdom. As a singer, dancer, entertainer, record producer, actress, and businesswoman, Beyoncé has always stayed on top of her game for ages. She once told Forbes Magazine, ”I’ve never met anyone that works harder than me in my industry.”

1. Have a powerful posy
A huge helping hand for the celebrity is her A-list friend group. Her husband is a multi-platinum rapper, her friends are the West’s; stars surround her. Those burning balls of gas can help her promote her new songs or her Ivy Park workout line. When someone sees a model like Kim Kardashian rocking the newest Beyoncé leggings, they will sell out at the blink of an eye.

2. Engage with your fans
Making those who look up to you feel special can really help bring on the cash. Not to say that Beyoncé interacts with fans in order to get their money, but it surely doesn’t hurt. During performances, she is known to ask the BeyHive what they want to hear next, occasionally even having a jam-packed stadium sing happy birthday with her to a fan. These kind of interactions not only stick with the persona they are directed to, but show the crowd that she knows they are all human. This kind of connection makes people want to be apart of her world and support her in any way.

3. Look at trends, and pounce on opportunities
If you could think of the most basic female outfit, what would you think of… workout clothes? Seems like everyone these days love a good t-shirt and leggings. The queen of the Hive saw this trend and automatically saw dollar signs. She created Ivy Park, and the world could not even. Even the biggest carrier of female workout apparel LuLu Lemons made a comment about the new athletic clothing.

4. Be mysterious
Who the heck is Becky with the good hair?! Did Jay Z really cheat on Beyonce?! Did anyone know that Lemonade was even being worked on? All these questions, and absolutely no answers. But that’s what keeps the popularity alive. Staying mysterious makes the audience draw closer to you, analyzing your every move. Keeping the consumer close means they know every detail about your life, but it also means that they know everything about your brand. Imagine, B releases an exclusive Lemonade t-shirt, do you know how quickly that would get snatched up? Having the consumer wanting more is never a bad thing, and having them never know what’s going on until its all done is even better.

5. Protect your assets
According to Bougie Black Girl, Beyonce has trademarked her daughters name, along with “ “Beyhive,” “Beyonce Heat Rush,”“Beyonce Pulse,” “B Revolution,” “B,”“Beyonce Heat Dream,”“Blackbird,” “The Mrs. Carter Show” and of course “Beyonce”. This is just genius. Having all of these things trademarked means that the Queen gets paid everytime it is used. Think of how often all of those named are used. The money is astounding.
