Whether you’re searching for an enamel pin or trying to hop on board the ’90s trend, there’s no shortage of stylish gems waiting to be discovered in the L.A. area.

My personal favorite brand, Reformation, opened a vintage shop in June 2017 dedicated solely to vintage clothing and accessories. I could literally pass out from excitement.
The newly opened L.A. boutique serves as an extension of the sustainable fashion brand. The company prides itself on being the second-most sustainable clothing option — next to being naked, of course.

Tucked away in Highland Park, Avalon Vintage is the perfect place to find both vintage clothing and used records. The store’s owner, Carmen Hawk, is known for her immaculate taste and knack for finding unusual vintage pieces.

Wasteland is a one-stop shop for vintage, designer and independent labels. Along with their vintage selection, Wasteland houses a large consignment selection where you can find newer designer items (if you’re into that kind of stuff).
The store has three locations in the L.A. area: the Fairfax District on Melrose, Studio City and Santa Monica’s Promenade.

Jet Rag is a vintage and used clothing store, known for its unique assortment of secondhand apparel, accessories and footwear. Serious vintage treasure hunters (and those with a lot of patience) should hit up the store’s famous $1 Sunday sale that happens weekly.

Whether you’re looking for a casual date-night look or an evening gown, you’re sure to find it in this enormous vintage warehouse. What’s more? No boys are allowed in Shareen, so customers can freely try on clothing wherever they want to in the store.
SHAREEN VINTAGE — 1721 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Don’t feel like getting out of the house to shop? No worries. Fair Season by Toni Walker is an L.A.-based online shop featuring vintage clothing and closet staples made locally at ethical facilities. They specialize in denim and other timeless pieces.
Now this one is a rather simple store with a more rustic feel. In both their L.A. and NYC locations, Raggedy Threads sells vintage womenswear including dresses, overalls and vintage tees.

“Subtly” is not in this store owner’s vocabulary. Longtime vintage connoisseur and designer, Laura Kranitz, runs the eclectic Cannonball and Tilly Vintage in Little Ethiopia. This boutique is for the woman who likes to pair high and low, new and old alike.
