ENTITY reports on Lady Gaga and how sh'es more than just her meat dress.

Standing 5’1 in a dress made out of raw meat doesn’t even begin to describe the extraordinary woman who is Lady Gaga. Top 7 in the Twitter game with the most followers, Gaga uses her stardom to inspire and lend a voice to people everywhere. It’s no surprise she has a following of millions of little monsters. A singer isn’t enough to define Mama Gaga

Here are five reasons Gaga inspires us:

1 A Voice

While it’s a tragic and sad event to hear about, we admire Gaga for coming out with what happened when she was 19. Gaga spoke on the Howard Stern show about an industry insider who raped her. To which she proceeded to speak about how it happens to people everyday instead of victimizing solely herself. Gaga wrote the song Swine which she admitted to be about the rape and we couldn’t be more happy to have her express her anger and aggression through music. Thank you Lady Gaga for showing us we’re all in this together.

2 Born This Way Foundation

Gaga has created the born this way foundation which is aimed towards empowering youth to create a braver and kinder world. It’s inspiring to see her so invested in enhancing the wellness of younger people.

3 Till it Happens to You

It was a sight, incredible and truly moving. Her performance of her song Till It Happens To You (about sexual abuse), at the Academy Awards left us speechless and stars like Rachel McAdams filled with tears in their eyes. The performance showed an emotion Gaga playing the piano soon to be joined by victims of sexual abuse with inspirational quotes writing on their right forearms. Together they stand, banned to show united they rose.

4 Self Love

In many ways she relates. In the past Gaga has shared of her bullying experiences in high school, and her struggle with depression and being put down. Most importantly she overcame it and she has faith that we can too. She’s not your normal pop star, she’s been through a lot of what her fans have and she understands the feelings they go through. She is queen in making her monsters feel like they are not alone. She is like a proud mom when it comes to them. She has inspired many people embrace who they are and love themselves, even helping many come out to their families and to finally accept the person they are.

5 Emotional Revolution Summit

As a guest speaker at the Emotional Revolution Summit at Yale, the singer spoke for a short time on why she chose to leave the music industry. Let me tell you, if you have not seen now is the time. In a truly inspirational moment, she reminded us that if you’re not happy, it’s ok to make a change.

In the demanding world called the music industry it is easy to be manipulated and taken advantage of just to make a profit. She reminded us “you can say no”. Say no to the things you don’t like to the stuff you want to do, because at the end of the day, it’s you that you have to look at in the mirror. If you’re happy with the person you see staring back at you, that’s all that matters. It’s important to make yourself happy and to do things for yourself. Thanks for not only telling/reminding us, but actually showing us it’s ok.
