Entity reports on the perfect alcoholic drink per season

Whether it’s a drink you have after a long day of work, or you’re at a bar with your friends – your favorite alcoholic drink can change with every type of weather. This is all related to the influence the type of drink can have on your body. A hot chocolate is nicer to drink in the winter, just as strawberry’s are better in the spring. So why not change your go-to alcoholic drink for every season! Here are some tips for the best seasonal drinks:

1 Fall

Bourbon Cider
The colors of this drink matches the orange and red colors of the leafs outside. Bonus: if it’s cold the bourbon will warm your body up, if it’s warm the cider will cool you down.

Caramel Apple Sangria
Yes, there are more ways to make this delicious cocktail. Try it!

India Pale Ale
Just slightly stronger than your average beer, it’s the perfect match for the mixed feelings of a summer-winter-combi you feel in the fall.

2 Winter

Hot Chocolate and Rum
These two flavors just go so well together. Bonus: you can sneak the rum into your drink, and nobody will notice. Good way to get through those awkward family Christmas celebrations.

Red Wine
This drink will instantly heat your body up again. Besides the delicious richness of a red wine, it tends to go perfect with winter dinners (think: steaks, potatoes).

Old Fashioned
Besides looking very cool, the classic old fashioned will warm your heart. Oh and they’re very easy to make!

3 Spring

Rosé wine
It’s like drinking a cocktail, but it’s secretly wine. It literally tastes like a combination of white and red, which makes it the perfect ‘in between’ drink. Note: don’t really combine red and white wine to make rosé, sadly that’s not how it works.

Strawberita’s
Give that Margarita a more ‘spring’ touch by making it with strawberries (oh and DIY, don’t drink the bud-light versions).

Gin&Tonic
Just classic. Bitter but tasty – it’s the perfect drink for those afternoons that will slowly move from indoor to outdoor.

Summer
White wine
Where red wine suits winter, rosé suits spring, white wine goes perfect with summer. It’s such a light drink and… just delicious.

Mojito
Mmm, make your mojito with lots of ice so you cool yourself down.

Corona
The best summer replacement for the regular beer.
