Japan is a country that had single travelers in mind in its hotel and transportation conceptions, it seems. One of the best reasons to travel to Japan solo is to bask in the tranquility of solitude, whether that be spending time strolling through a garden or bathing in a spring. The famous bullet train is also simple to use, even for tourists.
