1 Pizzeria Vetri

Philadelphia
This parlor is a newer restaurant, but it didn’t take long for the company to make a name for itself. Highly praised Italian chef Marc Vetri brought his talents to Philadelphia in 2013 and have since expanded to four different locations. The crust is chewy and doughy and the toppings pay homage to Italian pizzerias.

2 Bar Toma

Chicago
“Bar Toma is a neighborhood favorite where locals feel at home and tourists feel like locals.” This phrase found on the Bar Toma website is a picture perfect representation of this one-of-a-kind pizza heaven. Tavola, or table in Italian, is a little slice of the boot in the middle of the Big Apple. With two custom wood burning stoves made from Vesuvius volcanic clay and shipped from Naples, Italy, Chef Nick Accardi creates his masterpieces.
