ENTITY talks about sustainability podcasts

In recent years, podcasts have become increasingly more popular. People listen to them while stuck in traffic, showering and sometimes even working out. The variety of podcasts we have today cover nearly every subject possible.

Sustainability has also risen in the past few decades. We are constantly finding new ways to stay eco-friendly and include sustainable products in our daily lives.

With growing awareness of each, it’s natural that these two concepts come together. Podcasts on sustainability kill two birds with one stone– you learn about saving the world and entertain yourself while doing other boring activities.

If someone is itching to get started, ENTITY’s got you covered. Here’s a list of podcasts on sustainability worth listening to.

1 Think: Sustainability

Think: Sustainability is a SoundCloud podcast with recent episodes hosted by Miles Herbert.

With over 70 episodes, the content is plentiful, and the episodes are a healthy length (around 20 minutes each). They’re perfect for relaxing your mind during a work break!

The podcast provides interesting think pieces, like a truthful analysis on vegan sustainability and exposure on Aboriginal language. They also regularly touch on new discoveries and advancements.

Not only are their episodes creative and diverse, but many of them are also sprinkled with tips on implementing eco-friendly changes into your life. Even if you don’t change your entire lifestyle, you can still use their suggestions to save the planet in small ways.

2 The Adaptors

Hosted by Flora Lichtman and produced by Katherine Wells, The Adaptors includes a variety of climate change topics. Most of the episodes are short and sweet, so you could get up-to-date information during a quick shower or while waiting for an appointment.

Some of their topics seem a little unrelated to global warming. For example, one episode is named “Dollypartoniana and Other Lichens.” An average person probably wouldn’t recognize its connection to climate change. After clicking, however, listeners learn that lichens are “really sensitive to air pollution” and “very good indicators of habitat quality… the canary in the coal mine that has been singing for well over 100 years.”

While the podcast hasn’t been updated for some time now, it’s still an incredibly entertaining listen. Go check it out!
