Sierra Club Green Home asks Jessica Bell from LEI Electronics to explain what a standard battery does to the environment when it is disposed of in the trash, and why it is important to think about sustainability when powering up. LEI Electronics produce EcoAkalines, which are carbon-neutral, environmentally-friendly batteries.
