The Honda Civic Natural Gas was named 2012 Green Car of the Year by the Los Angeles Auto Show. The Civic Natural Gas gets 48 miles per gallon on the highway and has the cleanest-burning internal combustion engine, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency. The other competitors for Green Car of the Year were Toyota Prius V, Mitsubishi i, Ford Focus Electric, and Volkswagen Passat TDI.

The Civic Natural Gas online casino has been in production for more than 10 years, and the current model is a fifth-generation vehicle. Burning natural gas (a distinct category from biodiesel) in a car generally produces about 30 percent less air pollution and also costs less. Also, most of it is domestically produced instead of exported from conflict zones abroad. It can be harder to find gas stations selling natural gas, however, and a new Honda Civic Natural Gas does cost more than a new Civic running on conventional gasoline.
