Miss USA slams feminism as man-hating in questionable Q&A response, Entity reports.

I need women to stop this war on feminism. I am so tired of arguing about this, ladies.

The literal definition of feminism is “the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes.” That being said, WHY would any woman not be a feminist? Are you honestly telling me you see that word and that definition and think, no thanks, I’d rather we be unequal. I’d much prefer being less than — I’d like to make less money, have less control over my own body, have less of a shot at moving up in my career. Because you know what, I don’t believe that.

I think you’re all full of shit. If you are a woman in 2017 and you’re honestly saying that you are not a feminist that can mean only one of two things: 1) You’re an idiot, or 2) You’re a coward.

You are too afraid of the patriarchy and certain men in your life that you would rather continue playing dumb than just speak your own damn mind. And this is why we can’t have nice things.

Miss USA, I’m looking at you. We’re all looking at you. You don’t like the word feminism? Are you fucking kidding me?! You’re a black, female scientist working for the government. Don’t worry though, guys. She prefers “equalism.” Aka, she’s either a moron who doesn’t understand that feminism IS about equality, or she’s too afraid to align herself with feminism since she’s appearing on Fox network.

“I try not to consider myself like this, die hard, you know, like, oh I don’t really care about men,” Miss D.C. Kara McCullough says. Girl, who told you that? You’re a scientist. I would like to think you’re smarter than “feminism equals women hate men.” No. Enough of that.

The worst part is, when she said it, PEOPLE CHEERED. Ugh. Freaking Fox. Why are you guys cheering? This is nonsense. It’s like saying, ew, I don’t want to consider myself an American, I’m just a person who is a citizen of the United States. Bitch – that’s the same damn thing. You can like it or not but you can’t change a fact.

Of course, as if that wasn’t bad enough, this girl also slams healthcare, at the worst possible time, claiming it’s a privilege and not a right. You know, because only the wealthy deserve not to die in this country.

“I’m definitely going to say it’s a privilege. As a government employee, I am granted, um, healthcare, and I see firsthand that, one, to have healthcare you need to have jobs. So therefore we need to continue to cultivate this environment that we’re given the opportunities to have healthcare as well as jobs to all the American citizens worldwide,” she says to rousing applause, because of course.

We all know this archaic beauty pageant has a conservative audience. I mean, Donald Trump used to own it for God’s sake. And we all know where he stands on such issues.

Looking over Twitter it seems like watching the pageant was like seeing a movie with a shocking, twist ending. Fans were excited to see a woman of color take the prize. And she’s a scientist to boot! What a role model. But… then she denounces feminism and declares healthcare a privilege. And boy, was Twitter gutted.

Miss USA slams feminism as man-hating and Twitter was not happy, Entity reports.

Miss USA slams feminism as man-hating and Twitter was not happy.

“A brown girl won #MissUSA but she thinks affordable healthcare is a privilege and feminism is man-hate so she’s cancelled #ByeGirl,” Twitter user @_TheOpinion shared.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. #ByeGirl
