Entity explores why strong women should date type z men.

You work hard, play hard and would love to fall hard in love. In your experience, though, Beyoncé’s songs “Rule the World (Girls)” and “Crazy in Love” don’t seem to mix in real life. You’re not wrong for wondering if your success at work is hurting your success in dating.

According Psych Central, studies have shown that when told their partners scored high on an intelligence test, women’s self-esteem shoots up and men’s falls down. That doesn’t mean you should turn into a damsel in distress every time a possible suitor drops by. Instead, search for a man who can handle a strong, independent woman. What kind of man is that? According to Elite Daily, he’s a Type Z male.

Now, when you think of macho, ripped and overall drool-worthy men, the word “alpha” probably comes to mind. Type Z men, however, are actually the perfect match for alpha females like you. A Type Z male is just as driven as an alpha female and equally supportive of her as she is of him.

Just think of alpha females and Z males like a less conniving version of the Underwoods from House of Cards: together, they push each other to grow. At the same time, though, he’s also independent. If you’re spending the weekend at an important work conference or enjoy a girls’ night in the town every Friday, he won’t mind. In fact, he’ll be busy enjoying his own life and chasing his own dreams.

A Type Z male can make you laugh, cheer you up and listen to what you have to say. At the same time, though, he’s not a puppet that will nod at your every word – he has his own voice and isn’t afraid to use it! Another plus: he trusts you and doesn’t get jealous over petty topics.

And remember that ex-boyfriend who would leave passive-aggressive notes when you forgot to wash the dishes? That won’t happen with a Z man. If you’ve done something wrong, he’ll tell you, and if you argue, he won’t let his emotions get the best of him. On the flip side, if he is one whose wrong, he’s not too proud or stubborn to apologize. It also doesn’t hurt that when he does apologize, he means it.

An alpha female needs a man who inspires her with his own passions and teaches her something new every day while also learning from her. But, if you’re an alpha female, a Type Z male won’t just win your heart. He’ll also earn the title of your best friend.
