We don't know about you, but we love the Pomegranate Ginger Paloma.
Who doesn’t love tequila drinks on a hot day? Actually, who doesn’t love tequila drinks any day?
When you’re at a pool party, at the beach or a Netflix and chill night with your friends, the best thing to have with you is a refreshing tequila drink.
And for those of you who don’t have their go-to drink yet or are just looking to try a new beverage, here are the top five tequila drinks recipes we found.
You can never go wrong with a classic margarita. They are the best drinks for any occasion, whether it’s on a hot day or a cold night.
What you’re going to need for a classic margarita is 1 oz. of any Silver Tequila, 3 oz. lime margarita mix, 1/2 cup crushed ice, salt and lime wedges. To prepare this tequila drink, you mix all the ingredients into a blender except for the salt and lime. Rub the rim of your glass with lime and then dip it into the salt to frost. Pour the mix into your glass and you’re ready to drink.
Think of a Tequila Sunrise as a better version of a mimosa. This is a great drink that also happens to be really pretty. So if you’re also looking for a great Instagram pic, this is going to be your go-to tequila mix.
A Tequila Sunrise consists of 1.5 oz. any kind of Reposado Tequila, 4 oz. orange juice, cranberry juice and ice. Mix the orange juice and tequila in a shaker with ice, like you would with any mimosa. Then strain it into a highball glass filled with ice. And to finish it off, add a splash of cranberry juice.
A Silver Mojito is a classic tequila cocktail. This drink is great with your breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Silver Mojitos are quite simple. All you need is 1 oz. Silver Tequila, 2 oz. lime pulp, 6 mint leaves, 1 teaspoon of extra fine sugar, 1 oz. lemon-lime soda, 1/2 oz. seltzer water and ice cubes. When you have all your ingredients ready, mix the silver tequila, lime pulp, mint leaves, sugar and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well and pour into an old-fashioned glass. Finish the drink with a dash of seltzer and lemon-lime soda.
What kind of party would it be without pineapple and chile?
This Pineapple Chile Margarita on the rocks is refreshing, slightly sweet, tart and a bit spicy. This drink is pretty similar to the Classic Margarita but with a spicy twist.
What you’ll need for this drink is any 4 fl oz. Tequila of your choice, 2 fl oz. Triple Sec Liqueur, 2 fl oz. lime juice, 4 fl oz. pineapple juice, 1/4 cup of chopped pineapples, 1/4 cup of Tajín chile powder, ice and lime wedges. Combine all the ingredients and stir to blend well. Then rub the rim of your glass with lime and dip into the Tajín chile powder. Pour your mix into your glass and enjoy.
For all my ginger lovers, this drink is for you!
A Pomegranate Ginger Paloma is fizzy, minty, gingery, full of sweet pomegranate and, the best part, tequila!
There are two parts to creating this drink. First, you’ll need to make a ginger syrup. For this you’ll need 1/2 cup of honey, 1 inch of chopped fresh ginger and 8 mint leaves.
The second part is the Paloma. For this you’ll need 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice, 1/3 cup of grapefruit juice, 1/2 a lime, 2 to 4 tablespoons ginger syrup, 2 to 3 ounces tequila and ginger beer or sparkling water. To make the ginger syrup, put the honey, ginger and 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a boil. After it’s been boiled, add the mint and cover for 10 to 15 minutes.
Then to create the completed Pomegranate Ginger Paloma, add the pomegranate juice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, ginger syrup and tequila in a glass filled with ice. Stir until it’s mixed completely and top it off with some ginger beer or sparkling water.
All these tequila drinks bring a different vibe to any occasion. But one thing that all these drinks have in common is that they are refreshing and delicious. So go out and try these fun and tasty drinks!
