"It's called leadership, Donald."
We all love and adore J.K. Rowling for bringing the “Harry Potter” series into our lives. But, we love her more every time she tweets out an attack on President Donald Trump.
If there is a celebrity who openly hates on Trump through Twitter as often as Chrissy Teigen does, it might be J.K. Rowling. On the day of the 2016 presidential election, Rowling took to Twitter to remind her followers to not let the bullies win in response to Trump’s presidency.
She encouraged her followers to stay stand together, stick up for the vulnerable and not let hate speech become normalized.
But that wasn’t the last time she took to Twitter to express her feelings for Trump. So we compiled a list of the best J.K. Rowling quotes calling out Trump’s actions in the best way possible.
“If we all hit ctrl-alt-del simultaneously and pray, perhaps we can force 2016 to reboot.”
“The men rushing to tell us all that they talk about women exactly the way @realDonaldTrump did in his tape seem to think they’re helping.”
“Trump says ‘just words, folks.’ It’s his accusation and his defence. Words don’t matter. Facts don’t matter. If they don’t, we’re all lost.”
“One good thing about that abomination of a speech: it’s now impossible for any Trump supporter to pretend they don’t know what he is.”
“Close your eyes. Open a telephone directory. Point at the page. Open your eyes. That’s the name of the person who could do better than this.”
“Nothing to worry about here. Just the man with the nuclear codes, keeping us all updated on which insulting hashtag he’s considering next.”
“Nobody wants to find out that the President of the USA is constantly drunk, but my god, it would explain a lot.”
“.@StephenKing On a sliding scale of Annie Wilkes to Cujo, what level of delusion do you reckon we’re at today?”
“Rather than crafting placards, I think we should enlarge Trump’s London tweets so they’re on camera everywhere he goes to ‘show support.'”
“It’s called ‘leadership’, Donald. The terrorists were dead 8 minutes after police got the call. If we need an alarmist blowhard, we’ll call.
“Truly, whom amongst us can forget Trump ordering the killing of bin Laden? Or Obama bragging about barging in on naked beauty contestants?”
J.K. Rowling might just be a beloved children’s author, but her political stances on Twitter have gone viral. Her sarcastic and ironic humor exposes the Trump’s ridiculous actions, and we’re grateful for her.
