Entity reports live at the LA Women's March

ENTITY is reporting live from the Women’s March in LA.

Over one century ago, women joined together in one of the first marches for women’s rights: a battle for the right to vote. At that march in 1913, thousands of women – ranging from inspirational figures like Helen Keller to women who will never be named, but will always be appreciated – united.

Now, women all across the United States are picking up their boots and marching again, this time to ensure that their voices – their needs, rights and beliefs – will be heard under the new administration. We are women of various backgrounds, political ideologies, ages and races. But, regardless of our differences, “we should all be guardians for each other,” according to fellow marcher Katy Perry. She says: “I march today because I am not afraid anymore and I hope I can be an example of fearlessness and resilience. I will not let anyone suppress me, silence me or clip my wings.”

We all probably have slightly different reasons for marching. However, one fact is clear: we march together.
