From popcorn-scented pillows to glow-in-the-dark toilet paper, some products might seem totally bizarre at first glance. But it doesn’t take a genius to realize that the creators and makers of these wacky items might be onto something quite brilliant.
Here’s ENTITY’s compilation of all the weird Amazon products consumers have actually purchased for some practical reasons.
For $26.97, you can purchase one these Amazon oddities to use as a preventative measure for pest control.
According to Amazon, this Wolf pee will cause pesky creatures to leave and never return. The spray “creates the illusion that a predator is nearby,” triggering a fear that scares annoying animals away for good.
The LifeStraw is another example of one of those weird things you can buy online.
Although this product is a bit strange, it does have a very practical use for those adventure seekers going on hikes and traveling through nature. The Lifestrpaw filters out dirty undrinkable water if you ever find yourself stuck without a fresh bottle of H2O.

The iDrink Smartphone Box by Parody Products is another take on the “secret flask.” It’s “ingeniously designed to be sleek and discreet,” holding up to 4.5 ounces of your favorite poison.
Maybe I’m being overly dramatic, but it’s almost like Amazon is trying to sell flasks in disguise for people hiding the fact that they have a drinking problem.Or this could actually be a genius invention for public pools and places that forbid the sale and consumption of alcohol.
I guess it depends on how you look at it?
The Pet Sweep makes a bit more practical sense. After all, pets do live in our homes. We feed them, care for them, take them to the vet when sick and we even bathe them when necessary. The least they can do is put their spoiled paws to good use and sweep our floors, right?
For only $10 you can get a GlowBowl, a motion activation nightlight for your toilet. That way, your significant other has no excuse for leaving a puddle all over the seat when he has to get up and go in the middle of the night.

Sure, there are known benefits to eating a placenta after giving birth, including the added protein and healthy fats. Although, these same nutrients can also be found in a proper diet.
Which begs the question of whether a placenta recipe cookbook is really that necessary, especially when women also have the option of eating the placenta in a pill form after it dries.
