Another place people enjoy eating at while exploring the Melrose area is Fig & Olive. This upscale Mediterranean restaurant has a beautiful and elegant look to it.
The restaurant offers a unique dining experience by using what they believe is the most important component in their dishes: olive oil.
Some popular items from the menu people tend to order is the Marinated Lamb Chops, Chilean Sea Bass, Mushroom Croquette, and the Prime Beef Carpaccio. I can vouch for the lamb chops, they are absolutely amazing. When I ordered it my first time there, it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. So, I’ll most definitely be heading back soon!

Republique is one of those places that most LA locals would recommend to you if you have never been. I remember seeing people post pictures at Republique on Instagram because of its cute aesthetic. Soon after Republique got on my radar, my friend recommended it to me so I decided to give it a try. It definitely lived up to its hype, and honestly, even surpassed it!
Although Republique offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch, it’s most popular for its dinner and brunch. It is highly recommended to make reservations ahead of time if you are going for dinner. However, during the day they do not take reservations. Instead, you order your food in line first before grabbing a seat.
Just a heads up, the lines for brunch during the weekends are always out the door so plan accordingly!
