With the passing of February 2017, came Queen Elizabeth II’s 65th anniversary of being Great Britain’s ruling monarch. This anniversary was a little special from the others because this one was her Sapphire Jubilee. That makes Queen Elizabeth II the longest-reigning British monarch. Second to Elizabeth, Queen Victoria held the throne for 63 years and six months. So far, Queen Elizabeth has kept very private about this momentous occasion, but we can guarantee the Platinum Jubilee in 2022 will be a royally wild time! Happy Sapphire Jubilee!
