Job interviews can be a nerve-wracking experience, but ENTITY Academy is changing the game by making the process a bit smoother with its latest acquisition, SpeakPulse, an interview preparation technology software.

Think of it as a personal interview coach, but powered by AI!

The software app offers randomized interview prompts, allowing users to record and play back 30 to 60-second sound bites of their responses. Then, it checks your answers for things like stuttering or using too many filler words.

Individuals will even be able to chat with a career coach to improve their skills. ENTITY Academy’s chief executive officer and founder, Jennifer Schwab, discussed the acquisition with HRTech Series and explained the importance of the software purchase.

Benefits of SpeakPulse Acquisition

Schwab explained how the purchase was a strategic move to bridge skills gaps and boost confidence.

With SpeakPulse in the mix, the company can continue with its mission to empower more women in the workforce and help them become more at ease during interviews and reach new heights in their careers.

“The acquisition of SpeakPulse will help us further our goal of closing the skills, confidence and wage gaps that disproportionately impact women. The AI-driven mock interview app is another exclusive ENTITY tool that gives our students a competitive edge,” Schwab told HRTech Series.

The interview prep app was obtained from Clayton Terris, former vice president of revenue at SV Academy and head of partnerships at Thinkful.

Terris expressed excitement about the company’s partnership with ENTITY, emphasizing their confidence in passing the reins to them.

“We found a great partner in ENTITY and we feel good about passing the keys to them,” says founder Terris. “SpeakPulse will enhance the user experience and add a layer of analytics to the interview prep component of the student lifecycle,” he said to HRTech Series.
