It’s safe to say that if you are a social media user with a pulse you’ve probably run into a handful of food accounts. If you’re anything like me you may even follow a couple (dozen). With the number of food bloggers flooding Instagram constantly on the rise, you are certainly not alone.

Like many foodies, my newsfeed is flooded with the latest recipes, restaurants, and drool-worthy food-stagrams. It seems like just about everyone is making or indulging in insta-worthy food, and making sure they snap a pic of it first. From health nuts to sweet tooths- there is a food blogger for every appetite.

Whether you’re an established food blogger or just want to brag about how good today’s avocado toast looked, the #PhoneEatsFirst movement is spreading rapidly. Below is a compilation of the most notable food Instagram pages worth following, depending on what posts you’re looking for.

For The Aesthetically Pleased

You should follow: @thedelicious

This page is objectively more of an art blog than a food blog, but we’ll let it slide. @thedelicious is a food lover’s dream if that food lover also loved rainbow, recipes, and a range of featured foods. This food blog posts everything from charcuterie boards to crudites and makes up for our inability to taste by catering (pun intended) to the eye. If you love your boards with a splash of color make sure to check on the spreads (and ingredients) put together on this Instagram page.

For The Local Foodie

You should follow: @infatuation (and its partner accounts)

The team behind @infatuation has created a platform of pages for viewers across the United States. The original Instagram account is featured below and serves as a home for delicious food photos from across the country. While this page is enough to have users drooling, the infatuation creators went one step further; they have masterminded a series of Instagram pages specific to major cities. These spin-offs get their names from their parent page, and go by @infatuation_la, @infatuation_chi, @infatuation_nyc– to name a few. Visiting a new city? There is an infatuation for that.

For The Cheesiest

You should follow: @cheesy_travelers

The cheese-saturated food photo hub features only the best of the best. Don’t be deceived by the bio stating they are New York City-based; @cheesy_travelers lives up to its name and gets a wide range of food photos from the best restaurants. They also tag the restaurant or photographer in each post so that users can go taste the cheesy goodness offline. Viewers especially love partaking in interactive polls and viewership games and incentives through the Instagram highlights feature.

Whether you’re more into a simple Italian pasta dish or looking for delicious ramen recommendations, you must check out @noodleworship. They post photos submitted to them and always give credit, and there is no noodle dish that does not fit their aesthetic. If you’re a pasta or noodle fan- you know what to do.

For The Budget Eater

You should follow: @eatforcheap

If their name isn’t self-explanatory enough, @eatforcheap provides followers with delicious-looking meal options for less than 15 dollars. Every yummy meal that gets featured has the restaurant tagged in the caption so viewers can go eat for cheap themselves. All photos are credited, and all followers get to indulge without breaking the bank. What could be better? So, if you’re still trying to eat well on a budget, this page is perfect for you.

Self-proclaimed modern-day food critic Jonathan Cheban is another blogger who has taken the “food x Insta” world by storm. Otherwise known on Instagram as @foodgod, Cheban blesses his 3.2 million followers with some outrageously delicious posts.

“I can’t believe people even read food reviews and even listen to somebody that is so dated. It is so 2000,” Cheban said of traditional food reviews to the LA Times. And he may just be onto something. Recent studies show that people are more likely to turn to social media platforms and food bloggers than they are to turn to traditional food critics when researching a restaurant.

The Instagram world is filled with foodies and food bloggers alike, and there is truly a page for everyone. If you are an up-and-coming food photographer, you can submit some photos to most of these accounts or try and start your own. There is no such thing as too many food bloggers.
