Amanda Seyfried Pregnant With Co-Star Thomas Sadoski (VIDEO)

Christmas has come early for Amanda Seyfried. The “Mamma Mia” and “Mean Girls” star is pregnant with her fiancé, “The Newsroom” actor Thomas Sadoski.

Seyfried and Sadoski met during their off-Broadway show “The Way We Get By” before starting a romance while on-set their upcoming film “The Last Word.” The couple announced their engagement back in September, according to CNN.

This is the first child for both Seyfried and Sadoski, according to the USA Today video above. Seyfried confirmed but no gender or potential names have yet been released.

Motherhood seems like something that Seyfried has always planned for. In a Glamour 2014 interview, she said that she sees herself “with child” in five years. She also opened up to Us Weekly about the topic.

“I think it’s an important chapter,” Seyfried told Us Weekly. “There are some people who just know innately what they are, what they’re capable of. Yeah, it seems natural.”

In addition to the baby on the way, the actress has a string of new roles to celebrate – including the “Twin Peaks” reboot. She’ll also play an unnamed young woman in sci-fi thriller “Anon” as well as star Judy in comedy film “The Clapper.”
