Entity CEO and founder Jennifer Schwab says we should reach out to our Donald Trump sisters.

“Women For Trump.”

Seemingly an oxymoron, at least before Tuesday night. Yet there were women of all ages and even colors toting “Women For Trump” signs at Trump’s Hilton headquarters on election night.  Who were they and how did they get there?  And most importantly, why?

Entity reports on how we should treat the women who support Donald Trump.

I will admit to being part of the mass media that was prepared for Hillary’s great victory.  Which is why I find myself here, now, in the wee hours, wondering what went wrong and how our sisters could have voted for President-elect Trump.

You won’t find any rants here however.  ENTITY is dedicated to #WomenThatDo and Hillary is most assuredly a Woman That Does.  A resume featuring twice First Lady, U.S. Senator from New York and Secretary of State versus a man who never served a day in government or the military.  In the end, the disenfranchised and disillusioned working class rallied to the call and came out in force for candidate Trump.  And a significant percentage of them were women, albeit less educated ones according to CNN and other experts.

I am asking us all, here and now, not to begrudge women who voted for Trump.  It’s too easy to simply say he is misogynist, sexist, maybe even racist. His denouncement of Planned Parenthood, coupled with Vice President-elect Mike Pence’s commitment to take away women’s reproductive rights, are deeply disturbing at best.  Trump tapped directly into the vein of frustration and anger that the neglected and under-recognized are feeling toward the Establishment, Washington, big government and Wall Street.  Literally millions of these voters were not college-educated white women.

So why am I saying we owe them respect for their feelings instead of being upset at them for overlooking Trump’s documented disrespect for women?  This is because here at ENTITY, we are for all women.  Our mission is to help and support all women in whatever pursuits they choose, within their own concept of accomplishment.  Millions of women voted for Trump, and he is now our President-elect.  Thus it is our responsibility to move beyond the grave concerns many of us have for what will happen to women’s opportunity and women’s rights on  President Trump’s watch.   We must now hope for the best and pray that the gracious and dare I say respectful winning candidate we saw in his acceptance speech becomes the wise and magnanimous President that he promises to be.

The true ENTITY woman may not be thrilled with this result, but she will not spend much time lamenting what could have been – or fearing what may be.  She will move forward, head up, eyes clear and focused, pursuing her personal and professional goals.  Here is my promise that we will try to meet the needs of all women and support your efforts no matter what the Trump presidency brings.
