ENTITY shares how to play dating hardball.Sometimes it takes a second man to lock down the first.

Congratulations! You’ve met the man of your dreams, even though he may not know it yet. Perhaps it has been only three months of casual hangouts, dinners, and movies. Or maybe a whole year has passed and he’s still not ready to commit.

Don’t freak out.

In fact, keep it cool and continue to date, other men, I mean. Keep friendly relations with your dream guy, but make a big effort to date other men, as many as you please. Because sometimes it takes another guy to lock down the guy.

Just like baseball, this game has a set of rules and tactics you need to follow.

Snag a date with a new man. (A date should be easy to secure with all those apps available like Bumble, Tinder, and Hinge).

Also, make a point to have casual lunch or hangout plans with your dream guy a few days before your big date. During your lunch you must ask him what his plans are on the same night as your date.

2 The Wind Up

(The key in this step is to prompt him to ask you specific questions).

Mention that you’re excited about your own plans, hence the date! But wait for him to ask you what they are. You want him to be interested.

Next, give an honest response. Tell him about the date whether you’re going to a baseball game, or attending a music venue or a comedy club. Whatever it is, just give a simple response.

Then, wait for him to ask who you’re going with.

Whether he asks or not, be sure to casually mention your date’s name with a genuine smile, and wait for his reply.

He may pause in surprise that you’re taken. He may try to brush off a look of disappointment by asking you more detailed questions about your plans. Or he may not know how to respond and try to change the subject altogether. Either one of these responses is positive,

4 The Strikeout

Entity explains how to play dating hardball and make him commit.

Now watch the jealousy sink in! You’ve thrown him a curveball and struck him out of your dating life. He now has to work a bit harder for your attention since a new man has entered your ballpark.

After your fabulous date, wait for your dream guy to reach out. He’s sure to be running home to you after you’ve struck him out. But if his noncommittal ways don’t change, then at least you’re already a step ahead by jumping back into the dating game!
