Old enough to be awesome, that's for sure.
Joanne Tucker is most famous for being the wife of “Star Wars” actor, Adam Driver. However, not only is she an actress herself, Tucker’s accomplishments show she is so much more than a woman playing second fiddle to her man.
What exactly does Joanne Tucker’s age make her old enough to do?
ENTITY has the answer.
Joanne Tucker was born June 26, 1982, making her 35 years old.
For you zodiac lovers out there, this makes her a Cancer. And her famous hubby Adam Driver is a 33-year-old Scorpio, born on Nov. 19, 1983.
Adam Driver became famous in 2012 for his role as Adam Sackler in the HBO series “Girls.” Since then, his career took off and now he’s best-known for his role as Kylo Ren in the 2015 “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie.
But his leading lady, Joanne Tucker, knew Driver before he was famous.
While the two married in June of 2013, they’ve been dating since the early 2000s. They met while attending Juilliard together. “She taught me what Gouda cheese is and that you shouldn’t talk with your mouth full and spit on the sidewalk,” Adam Driver told Broadway in 2009.
Even though Kylo Ren only idolized Darth Vader, Driver is probably the only true Darth Vader in Joanne Tucker’s mind because she wasn’t born when the original Sith Lord hit the big screen.
The original Darth Vader, played by David Prowse and voiced by James Earl Jones, made his debut in “Star Wars: A New Hope” (Episode IV) in 1977.
This makes Joanne Tucker five years younger than the iconic film.
The Joanne Tucker age also makes her old enough to be a Juilliard graduate. In fact, the actress graduated from the performing arts school in 2009.
Before attending Juilliard, Joanne Tucker spent her elementary through high school years on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York. It was there she attended the elite K-12 school Dalton.
While she may not be as famous as her husband when it comes to acting, Joanne Tucker still takes to the stage herself.
The actress was the only woman in the 2010 play “Little Doc,” where she played Peggy, a married woman who is leaving town alongside Ric, who was played by her now husband, Adam Driver. The play features drugs, scandal and, most importantly, Brooklyn in 1975.
This makes the play’s setting seven years older than its only female cast member, which means she probably had to do some significant research while preparing for her role.
More recently, she had roles in the 2012 indie film “Gayby,” the 2014 film “Listen Up Phillip” and the 2016 film “Zero Days.” She also met up with her husband on the set of “Girls” in 2016 to play Ruthie for an episode in season five.
One of the most notable things Joanne Tucker’s age qualifies her to create is the nonprofit she started with her husband. The couple founded “Arts in the Armed Forces” in 2006 to bring the military and performing arts together.
Adam Driver served as a marine following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and recognized the importance of bringing happiness back to soldiers through art. Through their nonprofit, the duo also teamed up with Budweiser to create a scholarship for a military family who sacrificed for America.
Joanne Tucker, you’re awesome! We hope to see more of you in the future!
