The Kardashian’s last name is one that everyone knows.
There’s a reality TV show, spin-offs, a makeup brand and a clothing line. Along with the Kardashians, everyone also knows the Jenners. And behind every successful Kardashian and Jenner, there’s a momager who goes by the name Kris Jenner.
Kris is someone who makes a lot of money. It’s ridiculous. Here’s what the Kris Jenner net worth is and why it’s so much.
According to bankrate.com as of early 2017, Kris’s net worth was $60 million. Yes, that’s correct — 60 MILLION dollars is what Kris Jenner is worth. Although it’s crazy to believe, it isn’t impossible.
She has been the momager to her six kids since they stepped into the spotlight, which is where she gets a percentage of her money.
Since the Kardashian/Jenner clan came into the spotlight, Kris has controlled all of their contracts and essentially their lives and what they do. She lives a double life. Mom by day, and manager by night.
Because she is the momager and negotiates her children’s business lives, it means that she receives a portion of the money from the deals that she negotiates. For example, from June 2015 to June 2016 the Kardashians made a cumulative amount of $122.5 million. From this she received $11.5 million. Basically, she’s a baller.
Aside from earning money through her children’s work, she’s also her own brand. Kris Jenner is a reality television personality, published author and has had other business endeavors like a clothing boutique and talk show.
She released a memoir in 2011 titled “Kris Jenner… and All Things Kardashian.” Later, in October of 2014, she released a cookbook titled, “In the Kitchen with Kris: a Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites.”
Kris Jenner is the mastermind behind the idea for the creation of the famous “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” reality smash hit. In 2007, Kris met with Ryan Seacrest, who had his own production company.
She pitched the show as an idea similar to then on-air, “The Osbournes.” It seems as though Seacrest liked the idea because now 13 seasons later “KUWTK” is one of the longest-running reality TV shows there is.
Kris has 26.3 million followers on Instagram and Twitter combined. She is someone who is known to endorse products on her social media platforms.
For example, back in 2010 both Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian endorsed the Skechers Shape-Ups. Currently on social media she endorses Arthur George, which is her son’s sock company.
Yes, Kris Jenner’s net worth is ridiculous. However, she’s earned it. Kris Jenner is someone who works hard and sees her business ventures through.
She is successful for many reasons, but mainly for not giving up on her family’s brand.
