The official leap year day in the United States is February 29th. For those born on this day, they can only truly celebrate their birthday on leap years. Unfortunately, though, leap years only occur every 4 years.

Because of this, Feb. 29 is the most uncommon birthday in the United States. As a result, famous leap year day babies make up a small group. But who are they?

Here’s a list of the most notable American celebs born on leap year day.

1 Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is an American author, entrepreneur and philanthropist. However, he is mainly known as a life coach. Over four million people have attended his inspirational seminars. His self-help book “Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Within” has become a huge best-seller and his audience spans over 50 million people.

2 Superman

No, we are not talking about an actor. We’re talking about the real deal.

Superman is a beloved DC comic character known for his superhuman strength. According to writer Jerry Siegal, the character was “born” – or bought by DC Comics – on leap year day of 1938.  Superman

Due to the everlasting nature of animated characters, he appears in eight movies and many more spin-off series over his 80+ year run and he hasn’t aged a day.

3 Ja Rule

Ja Rule is a rapper from Queens, New York. It was his work in the early 2000s under the record label Murder Inc. that made him a household name within the hip hop industry.

His collaborations have earned him significant notoriety during his career. Some of these include the tracks, “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny” with Jennifer Lopez. The songs “Always on Time” and “Mesmerize” that he produced with Ashanti also became extremely popular.

On multiple occasions, he topped the Billboard Top 200 and he was nominated for 4 Grammys over the years. He has also earned six Top 10 albums.

4 Dennis Farina

Dennis Farina is an American actor who typically is cast in films and television series as a mobster. He played mob boss Jimmy Serrano in the film “Midnight Run” and also Ray Borboni in “Get Shorty.”

Before his acting career, Dennis Farina actually was a police officer. His blue collar past was later put to use when he played NYPD detective Joe Fontana on the TV series “Law & Order.”

Farina was born on leap year day 1944. However, he sadly passed away in 2013 at the age of 69.

5 Jessie T. Usher

Jessie T. Usher is the next star born on leap year day. He is an American actor who currently plays the main character Cam Calloway in the Starz comedy series “Survivor’s Remorse.” In the show, his character signs a pro-basketball contract and moves his family out to Atlanta, Georgia. The fourth season of the show will premiere on Aug. 20, 2017. He also co-starred in the film “Independence Day: Resurgence” in 2016.

6 Antonio Sabato Jr.

Antonio Sabato Jr. is an actor and model. He was born in Italy but moved to the United States at a young age. This leap year day baby originally started his entertainment career as a Calvin Klein model. He later starred in the famed soap opera “General Hospital.” In 2009, Sabato had a reality show called “My Antonio,” where various women competed to become his girlfriend.

After many years of acting and modeling, Sabato is moving on. May 18, 2017, Sabato announced that he is running for Congress in California against Congresswoman Julia Brownley. In 2016, he officially endorsed Trump and he spoke at the Republican National Convention. At the convention, he openly claimed that former president Barack Obama is a Muslim. He also claims that he is currently “blacklisted” in Hollywood for his political views.

7 Mark Foster

Mark Foster is the lead vocalist for the American indie-pop band Foster the People. The band started in 2009 and they gained popularity after their track”Pumped Up Kicks” went viral in 2010. It eventually went on to become number three on the Billboard Top 100 for that year.
