She can do it all.
If the name Alexis Knapp doesn’t sound familiar, maybe Stacie Conrad does.
Alexis plays one of The Bellas in the “Pitch Perfect” movies known as Stacie. She’s the one who kicks off the riff-off against the Treblemakers with “All Through The Night” by Cyndi Lauper.
With “Pitch Perfect 3” meant to hit theaters later this year, it’s the perfect time to get to know Alexis Knapp. Here are five facts on one of our favorite aca-singers.
Alexis was born in Pennsylvania in July of 1989. She grew up in North Carolina. Later, at 18 years old she moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her dreams.
One of the first things she did when she came to Los Angeles was host “Project Lore.” This was an internet series about the video game “World of Warcraft.”
Other than acting as Stacie Conrad in the “Pitch Perfect” movies, she’s also appeared in other movies, such as “Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.” Alexis played the role of “Aphrodite Girl” in that film alongside Logan Lerman.
Moreover, her other work includes “Couples Retreat,” “Project X” and “Super Fun Night,” which was written by her “Pitch Perfect” co-star Rebel Wilson.
Although, Alexis has never played a mom role on screen, she is a real-life mom. Her daughter’s name is Kai and she is one of the cutest humans EVER! If you’re not following Alexis on Instagram, you totally should.
If she isn’t sharing snapshots of her daughter Kai, then she’s most likely either sharing selfies, quotes or snaps from her day-to-day life.
As we mentioned above, Alexis Knapp is mostly known for her role as Stacie Conrad in the “Pitch Perfect” movies. This December she will be back on the big screen in her role as Stacie with her “Pitch Perfect” cast mates.
Stacie is known as the sex-crazed Bella. Which, what’s wrong with that? Everyone’s into their own thing. She co-stars in “Pitch Perfect” alongside Anna Kendrick, Anna Camp, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow.
The movie follows the life of college student Beca who doesn’t know what she wants to do in college and ends up joining an A cappella group.
Prior to acting, Alexis gave modeling a try. At the time, she was represented by Elite Model Management. Now, though, due to her changing careers and focusing primarily on acting, she rarely models. However, in 2010 you could’ve seen her in some Fruit of the Loom advertisements.
