To manifest your destiny towards what you want in a career, in a relationship and in life is hard.

After taking a few life lessons from actor Colin Egglesfield in the short time he spoke with ENTITY, there are five key points I took away from his talk that can help you live the life you want.

1. Trust your instincts.

Instincts can be calling signs or gut feelings that your body and mind are trying to tell you something. Trusting your instincts means trusting yourself. But it also means respecting yourself enough to believe that you are doing what is right for you at that moment.

2. Learn from life’s reality.

There will be multiple moments in life that do not pan out matching the plan we had in our head. This isn’t fair, but it does always teach lessons. We cannot expect to receive everything in life for free.

As human beings, we must work hard to make our dreams reality. Otherwise, we are not expanding our knowledge or learning about life around us.

3. Keep emotions out of negotiations.

For most empathic people, this can be a hard concept to grasp. Taking multiple perspectives into a negotiation or even day-to-day life will help the understanding process of visualizing where each party is coming from and considering their viewpoints.

No decisions should be made while in emotional states. Think: angry text messages in a relationship.

4. Don’t give up on your dreams.

Never giving up is a strong phrase for comprehending this idea. Sports is a high contributor to this idea for a multitude of people. To succeed with other competitors, you need training, lessons and practice.

Persistent practice will continue to help push you from where you began to where you want to be. Don’t take no for an answer when you believe you idea has the potential to succeed.

5. Manifest your destiny with vision boards.

Write down the dreams you have or how you imagine your life to be. Say those words out loud. Look in the mirror, see yourself in this new reality and say positive affirmations.

Always use your words and express your wants in present-tense. This will create a “right now” mentality to remind you to live this destiny now. This will force you to manifest your destiny in every aspect of your life.

ENTITY guide on how to manifest your destiny

Following these five key points can be easily implemented into your lifestyle. Only one thing can stand in your way of manifesting your destiny: you.

You are the only person holding you back. You are the one who creates the changes that will lead to your success. Your responsibility is you and discovering your destiny.
