5 Fun Facts About Alexis Knapp

If you’re a fan of the “Pitch Perfect” franchise, then you probably know Alexis Knapp as Stacie Conrad from both “Pitch Perfect“ and “Pitch Perfect 2.”

1 She’s a woman of many talents.

If you’re wondering whether or not Knapp’s singing is real in “Pitch Perfect” — Here’s a fact for you: As a child, Alexis Knapp received classical training in dance, musical theatre and opera. 

2 Knapp starred alongside Vince Vaughn in her film debut.

The Pennsylvania native had her first moment on the big screen in the 2009 romantic comedy, “Couples Retreat.” Knapp was originally cast as an extra before she received a credited role.

3 Knapp had some issues with that topless scene.

If you don’t know Knapp from her role in the 2009 comedy starring Vince Vaughn, you might remember her topless seduction scene in the 2012 film “Project X.”  As the “dream girl” of the main character, the role required Knapp to question some of her own morals.

4 She dated Ryan Phillippe.

Alexis Knapp was thrust into the spotlight when she began a high-profile relationship with actor Ryan Phillippe. The relationship ended in November 2010.

In July 2011, Knapp gave birth to a baby girl named Kailani (Kai) Merizalde Knapp.

5 Alexis Knapp is a #pastafarian.

According to her Instagram bio, Alexis Knapp claims to be a Pastafarian. Pastafarianiasm is related to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) which came into the mainstream just a few years ago.
