ENTITY shares the music festivals in CaliforniaENTITY shares the best EDM festivals you should attend

Are you a fan of electronic dance music (EDM) and festivals? If so, California has plenty of music festivals throughout the year just for you! So, get your best outfits together, blasts your playlists and buy your tickets because you won’t want to miss these shows!

Here are the top five EDM music festivals in California you can go dance your heart out at.

1. Hard Summer

ENTITY shares a music festival in California favorite: Hard Summer

Hard Summer was founded in 2007 and is usually held during the first weekend of August at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. It can get very hot out so keep an eye out for water stations and stay hydrated.

This two day festival is perfect for EDM lovers who also love rap. Although it may be a little difficult choosing who to see, you’ll be able to see both your favorites DJs and rappers if you want to listen to a mixture of music.

Past artists that have performed at Hard Summer include Marshmello, Louis the Child, Travis Scott, Virtual Self, Trippie Redd, Lil Skies, Snakehips, and many more. There are music favorites for just about everyone!

2. Snowglobe

ENTITY talks about Snowglobe, a music festival in California that you need to go to!

Snowglobe is a music festival that occurs every year around December 29-31 because it is a festival that celebrates New Year’s Eve! Name a better way to celebrate the holidays, I’ll wait.

This festival is located in South Lake Tahoe, CA at the South Lake Tahoe Community Playfields.

Snowglobe is a fun experience because it isn’t your typical EDM festival since it’s in the snow. Instead of wearing the usual rave outfits, you can find people wearing bright neon leggings, puffy metallic coats, onesies, colorful snow jumpsuits and big fury coats. It’s definitely cold so bundle up and stay warm!

3. Audiotistic

ENTITY discusses Audiotistic, a popular music festival in California.

Audiotistic was founded in the early 2000s but was put on pause for a few years. In 2017, Audiotistic was brought back for a one-day event located in Mountain View, CA at the Shoreline Amphitheater. In 2018, they decided to expand the festival to a two-day event for the following years.

This festival has two stages: Frequency 1.1 and 2.2 that will have performances by EDM artists and Rappers.

Artists that have performed previously include NGHTMARE, Slander, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Ghastly, Juice Wrld, Kaskade, Kayzo, Illenium and so on.

4. Nocturnal Wonderland

ENTITY explores Nocturnal Wonderland, a popular music festival in California.

Located at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, CA, Nocturnal Wonderland is a two-day festival hosted by Insomniac.

Have you ever wanted to experience the world of Alice in Wonderland and wondered what it would be like? Well, Nocturnal Wonderland will give you a feel for that with the art and performers at the festival and the four stages they have. With insane set designs, neon lights and amazing headliners, Nocturnal Wonderline has every fan-favorite music festival component. Some popular performers include Alan Walker, DJ Snake and Snakehips.

Nocturnal also allows attendees to camp at the festival if they choose to do so. (Yes please!)

5. Countdown

ENTITY shares a festival picture off Countdown's Instagram

Depending on the year, Countdown is a one or two day New Year’s Eve festival at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, CA

With the four stages they have, you’ll have to pick and choose which artists you want to see the most or hope that your favorites won’t be playing at the same time. Some artists that have attended in the past include 4B, Alesso, Jauz, Zeds Dead, Alison Wonderland, Jai Wolf, Dillon Francis, and many more favorites.

If you are an EDM lover, these five music festivals in California are definitely worth going to. Bring your whole gang and enjoy the music!
