Entity reports on the women who support First Lady Melania Trump.

Melania Trump will make history when she becomes First Lady of the United States on Jan. 20, 2017.

The Slovenian-born former model will become only the second foreign-born woman to hold the position after Louisa Adams in 1825, the British-born wife of John Quincy Adams.  And she will be the joint tallest First Lady; at 5 foot 11 inches she’s the same height as Michelle Obama and Eleanor Roosevelt.

But she will also go into the role with some low expectations, having played a relatively small role in her husband’s campaign with the exception of a speech at the Republican National Convention when she was accused of plagiarizing Michelle Obama.

There are many women rooting for her, however. ENTITY identifies five types who are excited, enthused and even inspired by the next First Lady.

1 Immigrants who dream of marrying Mr. Big.

More than 42 million immigrants currently live in the United States, according to the latest Department of Homeland Security figures, and many of them covet the same American dream personified by Melania Trump.  She grew up in a modest apartment in Slovenia as the daughter of auto dealership managers and later moved to America. Here, she married one of the country’s richest men who has now become its most powerful figure.

2 Aspiring models

Melania became a model at 16, signed with an agency at 18 and modeled around the world. Her globe trotting was aided by the fact she speaks six languages: English, Serbo-Croatian, French, Italian, German and her native Slovene. She went on to grace the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair. Melania met Donald Trump at a New York Fashion Week party in 1998 and the rest is history. At that party, Melania initially refused to give Donald Trump her phone number and that only served to intrigue him more. Listen up aspiring models: Play hard to get!

3 Fashion designers

Left-wing fashion designer Sophie Theallet, who has dressed  Michelle Obama, refuses to dress the next First Lady because she disagrees with Donald Trump’s politics. Though she has called on fellow designers to do the same, her plea may have fallen on deaf ears. The chance to drape their designs on the former model may be too much to resist, regardless of politics. Melania is known to favor the typical wealthy woman wardrobe of bandage dresses and giant diamonds. It will be fascinating to see if she uses her clothes to promote American labels or sticks to the luxe European designers she has favored in the past.

4 Mothers who are also stepmothers

Melania is a dedicated mother to 10-year-old Barron, so much so that she won’t be moving into the White House in January but staying in Trump Tower until their son completes the school year in New York. She told Parenting magazine that being a mom was “the most important job ever.” She is also dedicated to her four grown-up stepchildren, Donald Jr., Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany. “I don’t see myself as their mother. I am their friend, and I’m here when they need me,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

5 Other trophy wives

The term “trophy wife” is believed to derive from a historical practice in which warriors captured the most beautiful women during battle to bring home as their wives. In its Latin form, “Tropaeum uxor,” it dates back as far as the first century. In the modern era, Melania Trump takes the gold medal in the Trophy Wife Olympics. The exes who used to share a life with Donald Trump may be reeling at the fact their successor now gets a seat alongside him at the table with the most powerful people in the world.
