It’s pretty common for both women and men’s minds drift to other topics – such as performance or body image – during sex, a study from The Journal of Sex Research has concluded.
But what’s really interesting is what women are actually thinking about when they’re getting frisky.
And that’s exactly what Allure discovered for a recent article, which had brave women admitting their most hilarious sex thoughts. ENTITY looks at seven of the funniest confessions.
This women comically admitted that she had her man on the clock.
Comments like this had the co-hosts of “The View” laughing so hard that they could barely keep it together while discussing the Allure piece on the show.
Co-host Sunny Hostin just about fell over laughing after reading this one, and it prompted Joy Behar to shout, “That’s a hooker!”
Sara Haines seemed to be having the most fun with this topic, throwing her head back in laughter and covering her face. This one really set her off.
This woman found herself in an awkward situation thanks to her partner’s Amazon Echo. She admitted that during sex he had shouted, “Alexa, play Drake Spotify Shuffle,” and commented, “This is probably not the type of guy that’s going to text me back.”
Setting the mood… it’s important.
This turned out to be a popular sex thought – or more like, worry – for women. “The View” co-host Haines even admitted that she often thought “please don’t jump up here, please don’t jump up here” about her Chihuahua.
Fourteen percent of women admitted that they think about their ex during sex quite often, per a study from Britain’s biggest online sex toy retailer, Lovehoney. And 60 percent were happy to write it off as no big deal.
After reading off a few of these wild sex thoughts on “The View,” Haines added one of her own, sharing, “Anderson Cooper, can we be a littler quieter?”
And she refused to take any flack for it from her fellow panelists, saying, “I’ve thought it. I know I’m not alone. You guys know you’re thinking it sometimes!”
Whoopi Goldberg, on the other hand, couldn’t help but wonder, “What would make you answer this?”
There was no shortage of eye rolls and shoulder shrugs from Goldberg as she led the cast in what is likely Haines’ favorite discussion yet.
Whatever your mind wanders to during sex – just make sure you remember to close the door if you’ve got a jealous dog running around.
