ENTITY shares the best karaoke songs.

Sure, singing in front of a crowd of random strangers sounds terrifying. But what you may not know yet is that it can be a lot of fun.

The trick? Just remember that getting on stage doesn’t necessarily mean you need to be the top vocalist in the room. The point of karaoke is to have fun and choose songs that everyone will recognize and enjoy.

Here’s ENTITY’s list of the best karaoke songs for a wild night out.

1 “You and I” by Lady Gaga

This song is amazing to belt out when you’re alone in the car or feeling vocal in the shower. It’s loud, commanding and powerful just like Gaga herself.

2 “All Star” by Smash Mouth

I was ten years old when my next door neighbor brought home Smash Mouth’s new album Astro Lounge released in ’99. I remember blasting “All Star” from my mom’s living room stereo for hours on repeat.

I’m sure we gave her a headache, but 16 years later, it still remains one of the best karaoke songs to rock out to on a wild night.

3 “Do Wah Diddy Diddy” by Manfred Mann

Here’s an oldie but goodie that everyone will know the lyrics to, guaranteed,  especially if you grew up watching “My Girl.” You’re sure to get a great audience response to this classic tune.

4 “Like a Virgin” by Madonna

What’s a night of good karaoke songs without making it through the wilderness and singing this favorite hit by the queen of pop herself? “Like a Virgin” is the perfect combination of sexy and fun when singing in front of a drunk crowd.

5 “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston

Turn your karaoke night into an instant dance party with this 1987 soul-thumping smash.

Although nobody tops Ms. Houston’s effortless vocals, it’s definitely worth a shot (perhaps after a few shots of liquid courage to beat the stage-fright).

6 “Love Shack” by B-52

If you’re paired up, try out “Love Shack” to perform one of the best karaoke duets ever. I mean, what’s funnier than a woman borderline screaming about getting it on while a goofy man talks in the background?

Now “hurry up! And bring your jukebox money!”

7 “Livin’ On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi

This song is basically the perfect ’80s karaoke rock anthem for anyone who has ever been young and in love.

What could be more relatable than a couple of starry-eyed kids trying to make ends meet? And the best part about this song? No one will be able to hear your cracking voice between the noise of the music and the crowd chiming in at the bar.

8 “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen

In Mindy Kaling’s book, “Is Everyone Hanging Out With Me,” she argues against the choice to sing Don McLean’s “American Pie” and any song over four minutes long because it’s inconsiderate to other karaoke-goers. But we say, bring on the melodrama with this epic Queen hit!

It’s a glorious musical blend of everything into one beautiful rock ballad. Although, Kaling is right. You really have to commit to this one, but it’s so worth it!

9 “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-a-Lot

Bust out a nice booty shake to one of the most popular and wickedly funniest karaoke songs ever. It’s a crowd-pleaser that’s bound to get people jamming.

10 “Man! I feel Like a Woman” by Shania Twain

You’ll need to sing a kick-ass song that shouts girl power, especially after “Baby Got Back.”

So what does ENTITY do? Turn to Shania Twain. Does one of the best and most popular girl-night anthems of all-time really need an explanation?! Nope. We didn’t think so.
