The show must go on – especially if you’re Queen Bey, a 20-time Grammy Award winner.

A couple years ago, Beyoncé kept singing even after getting her hair caught in a fan. Last weekend, the 35-year-old entertainer continued her performance despite accidentally injuring her ear during the Tidal X: 1015 concert. As Entertainment Tonight’s video shows, the pop-culture icon, once again, simply continued singing.

Beyoncé supporters immediately praised her for not missing a beat even after injuring herself. One fan even tweeted, “Talk about blood, sweat [and] tears. This woman is unstoppable – yes she just realized her ear was bleeding [and] pushed all the way [through].”

However, the star’s professionalism and commitment to her fans and music are no surprise. In fact, Beyoncé has told GQ in an interview, “I approach my shows like an athlete. You know how they sit down and watch whoever they’re going to play and study themselves? That’s how I treat this. I watch my performances … I want to grow, and I’m always eager for new information.”

And at the end of her performance, Beyoncé diverted the attention from her ear to the upcoming presidential elections. She encouraged her fans to vote and told them, “We are not helpless. The fire is still burning. Please go out and vote this November. So many people have died and sacrificed so much for us to have our voice. We have to use it. Get in formation.”
